The Korean-Australian twin sisters who perform cover songs together started making music from their bedroom and posted their first video on YouTube in 2008. You will recognise the sisters from their viral hit cover of Tamia’s “Officially Missing You”, currently over 19 million hits. Continuing their success, the duo constantly produces their own version of hit songs, such as, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” which amassed over 41 million hits and Maroon 5’s “Payphone” with over 45 million hits.

I can't believe that they are here too! After Deftones and all... it's time for more gen-y music band to come and perform in Malaysia! I have been hearing their songs and hooked up since I was in my primary school and now they are coming!

Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) fans are in for a treat - the Danish pop act is scheduled to visit Malaysia this April and the band will be on a three city tour covering Kuala Lumpur, PPenang and Kuantan.

Presented by MBI International, the upcoming tour of this legendary soft rock band will take the stage of Penang Pisa Stadium on 22 April, Kuala Lumpur KLCC Plenary Hall on 24 April and Kuantan Sukpa Stadium on 30 April 2011, featuring all of their popular songs as well as new ones from their recent album, Eternity, brought out under their own independent label, MLTR Music.

MLTR recorded a sell-out concert here in Malaysia back in 2009 and this popular Danish soft rock band does seem to have a strong fan base as all 6,000 seats at the hall were filled with groupies who seemed to know every word of the band's songs.

MLTR has been enthralling audiences all across the globe since the past 2 decades. The band is regarded as one of the finest 'pop makers' ever to have hit the global music arena.

Deftones Live in KL 2011

On the past Valentine's Day, I have attended the DEFTONES live in Kuala Lumpur. It was their first stop for the Asia Tour. Do check out the video below and leave a comment on what you think about their music.

Deftones is an American alternative metal band from Sacramento, California, formed in 1989. The band consists of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Chi Cheng (bass),Frank Delgado (keyboards and turntables), and Abe Cunningham (drums and percussion). They have released six albums to date, with two Platinum (Adrenaline, White Pony) and two Gold certifications (Around the Fur, Deftones), their most recent studio album Diamond Eyes was released in spring of 2010.

Due to some uncertainties, Chi Cheng has been replaced by Sergio Vega who is the current bassist for Deftones and he was playing during the live concert in KL. Let's just hope that Chi Cheng will be back into the band soon.

Don Henley - The Heart of Matter (Cover)

Donald Hugh "Don" Henley (born July 22, 1947; Gilmer, Texas) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and drummer, best known as a founding member of the Eagles before launching a successful solo career. Henley was the drummer and lead vocalist for the Eagles from 1971–1980, when the band broke up.
